DESCRIPTION:Join The Pathologist and Sectra on August 26 for a case study webinar explaining how Region Skåne embraced digital pathology in their labs. \nRegion Skåne is responsible for social and medical care in Skåne\, the southernmost province of Sweden. They have implemented digital pathology in over four labs in the enterprise. With 14 scanners handling all histopathology cases\, they may be the world’s largest institution using digital pathology for primary diagnostics. \nDuring the case study webinar\, Kevin Sandeman\, Consultant Histopathologist and Head of Department at Region Skåne\, will share his experiences and advice for a successful implementation. Thomas Bauer\, Pathologist-in-Chief and Director at the Hospital for Special Surgery\, will discuss how to implement digital pathology in the US for routine diagnostics.
