SUMMARY:USCAP 2022 Companion Course
DESCRIPTION:The European Society of Pathology (ESP) is proud to inform ESP members about the ESP Companion Course which will be organised during the annual USCAP Meeting (March 19 – 24\, 2022). \nThe 2022 Course will underline new and emerging tumor entities in the WHO classifications\, with a special focus on tumor entities in salivary glands and other head and neck organs\, breast\, stomach and in the endometrium and ovaries. \nThe presented topics will be addressed by expert faculty with diagnostic and research expertise in these areas. Recognition of pathogenesis\, histological criteria and molecular basis of new and emerging entities are vital for characterizing and classifying such anomalies\, enhancing clinical management\, and lessening the risk of diagnostic errors. The impact of using novel diagnostic procedures\, including molecular approaches\, on identifying molecular predictive and prognostic markers and on selecting targeted molecular therapy will be significant.\nThe ESP Companion Course will take place on Sunday 20 March 2022 at 10:30 – 12:30 (Local time).\nColleagues attending the USCAP 2022 meeting in Los Angeles\, USA\, are invited to attend the ESP Companion Course.\nMore information is provided via this LINK. \n
