DESCRIPTION:The first webinar of this series\, scheduled for 7 October 2025 at 16:00-17:00 CEST\, will address the subject of “Basic concepts and type of clinical trials”.\n\nThe speaker for this webinar is Prof. José Alejandro Pérez-Fidalgo.\nThe webinar will be moderated by Prof. Xavier Matias-Guiu\, ESP President\, and Prof. Catarina Eloy\, Chair of the ESP Education Subcommittee.\n\nDuring the webinar\, the following topics will be addressed:\n–        Validity and precision\n–        Type of studies (descriptive\, analytic)\n–        Type of clinical trials\n–        Phase I trial: concepts\n–        Phase II trial: concepts\n–        Phase III trial: Hypothesis contrast\, survival curves and interpretation\n–        New designs: umbrella\, basket trials and adaptative trials\n\nRegistration for the 1st webinar of this series is now open and available via this LINK.\nThis webinar is offered free of charge to all colleagues.\nIn addition\, ESP members will enjoy access to the webinar recording (via the ESP Educational Platform) and a certificate of attendance.
