Invitation to participate from 12 November to 7 December 2025
Celebrating International Pathology Day 2025, European Society of Pathology is pleased to announce the launch of the ESP Pathology Progress Test (PPT) 2025.
The ESP PPT is a self-assessment tool designed to support residents in preparing for their board examinations. However, all pathologists are welcome to participate to evaluate their knowledge in pathology.
The ESP PPT is created by the ESP Education Committee with support from experts and volunteers.
The ESP PPT consists of 120 multiple-choice questions, each with 4 options, only one of which is correct. The questions are partly based on images, either still or digitally scanned, or they are text-based.
The ESP PPT is offered free of charge to all participants. ESP members may access it via the ESP Educational Platform. Colleagues who are not yet ESP members may access it via this LINK (creation of a guest account is mandatory).
The ESP PPT may be taken in one go or with pauses. Kindly note that whenever accessing the PPT, a timer is activated, and once it expires, no further action is allowed. Upon completion of the ESP PPT, participants will be prompted to review their answers and submit the test.
ESP members who participate in and submit the ESP PPT 2025 will receive a certificate of participation and will have access to the correct answers. The ESP PPT 2025 will be available until 7 December 2025.
