Draft 2nd edition ICCR Urinary tract datasets available for review

ICCR invite the Bulgarian Pathology Association to review the following draft International Collaboration on Cancer Reporting (ICCR) Urinary tract datasets:

  • Carcinoma of the bladder – cystectomy, cystoprostatectomy and diverticulectomy specimen (2nd edition)
  • Carcinoma of the renal pelvis and ureter – nephroureterectomy and ureterectomy specimen (2nd edition)
  • Carcinoma of the urethra – urethrectomy specimen (2nd edition)
  • Urinary tract carcinoma – biopsy and transurethral resection specimen (2nd edition)

The ICCR has been formed to develop common, internationally standardised and evidence-based cancer datasets for surgical pathology specimens. Using the best international approaches, and leveraging the knowledge and experience of world-leading pathologists, the ICCR aims to ensure that all cancer reports, will be of the same high quality; ensuring completeness, consistency, clarity, conciseness and above all, clinical utility. The ICCR has published 62 cancer datasets to date which are available at: http://www.iccr-cancer.org/datasets.

The draft datasets are available for comment until Wednesday 3 December 2025 at: https://www.iccr-cancer.org/datasets/datasets-under-consultation/. To provide feedback please email any comments together with your name and country to datasets@iccr-cancer.org.

The Urinary tract datasets will be published in December 2025.
